The Climate Limbo: Filmscreening and Cine-debate

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Continuing last year's string of films for the Global Migration Festival, the International Organisation for Migration and AFK are hosting a film screening of the documentary film "The Climate Limbo" written and directed by Elena Brunello, Paolo Caselli, and Francesco Ferri together. The Climate Limbo is a documentary film that analyses how climate change impacts on migrations and fuels poverty and wars. By 2050 climate change-related disasters could displace up to 250 million people. The message of the film is that climate change affects everybody: the rich and the poor. The Climate Limbo aims to analyse the complexity and consequences of climate change on human lives and environmental-driven migrations, putting the climate change issue in a global frame. This will be followed by a talk with experts from The International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and others (TBA) on the topic of climate change and migration. Drinks will be on sale See you there!
